The Padi open water qualification takes a minimum of 3 days and
consists of student reading the open water manual prior to commencing
the course. The class starts with a video presentation a theory
session followed by a confined water session 4 open water training
dives. On completion of this the student sits a final written exam
and is awarded an open water certification. This certificate is
internationally recognised and allows the diver to independently
dive.
The
3-day course can be spread over duration of a week, therefore it
is not necessary to do the course in 3 consecutive days if you do
not require.
