The Barbados Music Awards (BMAs) was hosted for the second year by Timeless Barbados Inc., the two-man team sought to reward Barbadian talent in the entertainment industry.
And with several record producers from the United States and other record executives in attendance, many artistes called the five-hour show a great success and "an excellent opportunity".
"I am a living testimony of what this show can do for you," said Dwayne Husbands who performed at the inaugural BMA and since then got the opportunity to create a duet with Rihanna. < Read more >

Barbados entertainment has something for everyone. From the Barbados Jazz Festival in January to the many Old Years Night celebrations in December, every month has several exciting events.

Famous visitors come for Awards Shows and to perform at reggae shows

There are Regattas and Fish Festivals, Racetrack and Rally racing events
	Barbados Fashion Week is fast becoming a fixture on the fashion calendar and the Bridgetown Film Festival is an annual event
	Cool Jazz under the stars is a monthly mix of great ambience and musical expertise that explores the choices contained within the jazz genre
The world tunes in to the Barbados Sandy Lane Gold Cup. Other major sporting events upcoming include The Golf World Cup and the Cricket World Cup 2007.

	Classical and cultural performances by both local theater groups and visiting players, regularly delight audiences and there are several annual theatre productions.
