Situated in Christchurch on
the island's south coast approximately 20 minutes from the airport. The
Barbados Beach Club stands beside a white sandy beach and there is a small
selection of shops, bars and restaurants near-by.
The Barbados Beach Club re-opened in November 1999 after major renovation.
There is a free form swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace, which
overlooks the beach and the blue waters of the Caribbean. If cooling off
in the pool is too much like hard work, then a cocktail or two from the
poolside bar should do the trick. Alternatively, there are 2 other bars
to choose from. The poolside restaurant features buffet style breakfasts
and lunches as well as buffet or A La Carte dinners. For more formal dining,
The Sea Rocks restaurant opens for dinner only serving international seafood
cuisine twice weekly. There is also an Italian restaurant. Swimwear is
not allowed in the restaurants and the dress code for dinner in the Sea
Rocks and the Italian restaurant is casual but elegant. Afternoon tea
is served daily.
Superior rooms feature twin beds, air-conditioning and have bathroom,
hair-dryer, satellite TV, balcony or patio and garden or land view. Deluxe
rooms have the same facilities except there are 2 double beds and some
rooms have sea-view or pool-view. Super deluxe rooms are the same as deluxe
rooms except that there is one king size or queen size bed
