football >> barbados football BARBADOS football BARBADOS DEFEATS GRENADA ON RETURN LEG Barbados continued its preparation for World Cup preliminaries 2006 with a return game against Grenada National Football Team on Saturday 31, January 2004, at St. Georges. The Bajans won the game 1 - 0 against an ever improving Spice Boys. Grenada had several scoring opportunities but failed to convert any of them. The game was locked 0 - 0 at half time. The Bajans played the second half with more grit and determination and eventually scored in the 80th minute from the boot of veteran striker Llewelyn Riley. The Bajans continue to experiment with several options as they seek the right combination to advance in the CONCACAF Zone.
