SHARPE-PAN-ER. After hearing Len Boogsie Sharpe at
the Barbados Pan Festival's Pan Under The Trees at Sunbury Plantation
on Saturday, some patrons were tempted to say he was born to play
steel pan.
But one man with an obvious sense of occasion perhaps
paid him the ultimate compliment when he suggested steel pans were
created simply for Sharpe to play.
