The Barbados Institute of Architects was established in 1968. Its main
aims are to encourage and advance the profession of architects, including
the study of architecture and to promote public awareness and interest
in the art of modern design.
Its principal objective is to safeguard professional practice and maintain
a high standard within the profession.
