volleyball championships >> CARIBBEAN - volleyball Griffith Still Vice-president Of Regional Volleyball Body - Saturday 03, July-2004 Barbados’ volleyball chief John Griffith has returned to the position of vice-president of the Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) following elections which were heldduring the staging of the tenth Caribbean Volleyball Championships. Griffith, who is the internal auditor of the international FIVB and treasurer of the regional North America, Central America and the Caribbean body, last held the vice-presidency on Cazova in 2002. Griffith has been elected for a four-year term with CAZOVA, moving from the two-year term to the four-year term to fulfil the mandate from FIVB. Long-serving member from Trinidad and Tobago Mushtaque Mohammed has been returned as president of Cazova for a new four-year term. Daymian Stewart of Trinidad and Tobago remains as secretary-treasurer. The other elected members of Cazova are: vice-president, Gerald Rosina of the Netherlands Antilles; members, Jennifer Evans of Jamaica, Randy Heath of Suriname, Lirus Phillipe of Martinique and Celistino Lesuire of Aruba. Meanwhile, Bahamas has been confirmed as the host for the juniors to be held next year.
