Cool Jazz for June had an inspirational theme and so it was fitting that Jennifer Sealy, who has been an inspiration to many, opened the show with her dance troupe, Dancin’ Africa.

Founded by Jennifer many years ago at a centre for inner city children interested in dance, Dancin’ Africa has become one of the region’s premier dance groups performing a variety of dances from the different regions of Africa and the Caribbean and offering a showcase for visiting talent.

The half hour presentation was very well received by the audience who appreciated the dancing, costumes and stirring music.
