Cool Jazz season two kicked off with a great show titled 'Soul Sisters', held at the picturesque location of the Southern Palms Hotel, St. Lawrence Gap.

'Soul Sisters' featured sultry songbirds Celestine 'Ci Ci' Shaw and Tamara Marshall in their musical splendor.

Ci Ci, the grand dame of the local Jazz fraternity has had a prolific musical career that includes early stints with Mike Sealy and the Sunkings and the late Ernie Small.

Tamara Marshall has blossomed before her home audience to become one of the most sought after female vocalists to perform in a range of musical genres. The stylish dreadlocked diva rose to fame when she signed on with Spice & Company and went on to tour extensively with the group. One of the highlights of her career was touring as a back-up vocalist with international recording artist Maxi Priest.
