ST. LUCIA - Cricket Carnival

As St Lucia prepares to host the British teams in the CricketWorld Cup 2007 small groups may also have in mind to visit this beautiful island for a cricket holiday.

This tour is still in development stages it can be amended to suit any size team or any number of teams wishing to visit St Lucia for a cricket holiday.

Day 1
If you are experiencing a duel island cricket package or you are visiting from another Caribbean island the arrivals between islands fly into St Lucia on Caribbean Star.
Transportation from the airport will be arranged to take you to your hotel


A warm welcome from St Lucia awaits you.

19:00hrs Briefing at Pool front or Conference Room.

The Bay Garden's representatives are on hand, at all times, to offer assistance.

The accommodation is four per room, the rooms are bright and comfortable and have coffee making facilities, a smal fridge and balcony overlooking the pool.
Day 2


Free day to relax and enjoy the beauty of St Lucia an island tour can be arranged or a trip to the beach.



19:00 Opening ceremony at Bay Gardens Conference room

The Chairman of the Cricket Board will give a welcoming speech.

An address will be given by a Tourist Development Officer the St Lucia Cricket Carnival tournament will be declare open.

Refreshments and dinner will be provided.
Day 3

10:00hrs Pick up and transfer to cricket ground

11:00hrs First round match. All teams will be playing 40 overs per side

13:45 Lunch provided after first cut off time

14:15 Game continues
Day 4


10:00hrs Pick up and transfer to cricket ground

11:00hrs Second round match. All teams will be playing 40 overs per side

13:45 Lunch provided after first cut off time

14:15 Game continues

Day 5

10:00hrs Pick up and transfer to cricket ground

11:00hrs Third round match. All teams will be playing 40 overs per side

13:45 Lunch provided after first cut off time

14:15 Game continues

Transport back to your hotel, villa or apartment.


20:00 Party night at the Bay Garenes, music provided by live band backed up by a local DJ.

BBQ Pool side dinner will be served and dress is elegant casual

Day 6

Fun in the sun day!

St. Lucia has a wide variety of island tours available appealing to the nature enthusiast, adventurer, history and culture buff, eco tourist and fun lover.

Including a day trip to Martinique
Cruise along the coast to Diamond Rock, the scene of a famous battle between the English and the French some 150 years ago, enjoy some excellent snorkeling.
Depart from Rodney Bay Marina on 'Flying Ray' a 60', double deck, 1200 hp catamaran for a 90 minute ride to Martinique.
 In Fort-De- France enjoy some duty free shopping, famous French perfumes, designer cloths and jeweler can be found in the fashionable boutiques of this French Caribbean capital.
 

A complimentary Ti Punch is a must before a delicious BBQ on board.

Full day tour (9 hours)

8:30 am - 5:30 p m

Essential supplies.
Towels, camera, comfortable shoes, sun-bloc and swimwear.
St Lucia

Discover St. Lucia from north to south, east to west! Journey through the rural villages of the north enjoying breathtaking views of hills, valleys and the ocean beyond.


Head to Soufriere to visit the Sulphur Springs, then on to Morne Coubaril Estate for an enjoyable lunch.


Afterwards board a 'Tall Ship' or Motor Boat for your return journey stopping along the way, at a secluded bay, for swimming

Day 7

10:00hrs Pick up and transfer to cricket ground

11:00hrs Fourth round match. All teams will be playing 40 overs per side

13:45 Lunch provided after first cut off time

14:15 Game continues

Day 8

10:00hrs Pick up and transfer to cricket ground

11:00hrs Four teams will be playing in the semi finals of the 'St Lucia Cricket Carnival'

13:45 Lunch provided after first cut off time

14:15 Game continues

Transport back to your hotel.


Day 9
Finals

10:00hrs Pick up and transfer to the cricket ground

11:00hrs The Finals

13:45 Lunch provided for the finalists after first cut off time
(Lunch for all other team members will be on sale for EC $10.00)
14:15 Game continues

At the end of the match there will be a closing ceremony and presentation of prizes by an official from the cricket board.

Day 10

Souveneer shopping at Soufriere Free day for shopping and independent travel.

Last day


10:00hrs Transfer to airport to catch flight back home.

Invite your supporters to follow your team, benefit from great hotel reductions and have a fun packed week to ten days of cricket, island touring and watersports.

Visiting the surrounding islands enjoy some local shopping and best of all join the friendly St Lucians for party time!
