Beating Edwin Yearwood of krosfyah with Sugar Cane who received 45 per cent of the votes, Statement received 55 per cent to be this year’s champ.

A shocked Statement told the audience gathered in front of the River Road station plus thousands of on-air listeners that he was overwhelmed.

He thanked God, his parents, producer Darron Grant and the entire krosfyah family for their support.

Statement won a beige two-door Suzuki Grand Vitara and will be insured with one of the People’s Monarch’s sponsors, Equity Insurance.
