The King Says Thanks - Monday 09, August-2004

A smiling Kid Site along with Bacchanal Time tentmates TC, the people’s queen, and Romeo, who placed second and fourth respectively in the just concluded Pic-O-De-Crop competition, showed just how much they appreciated their fans with a victory motorcade yesterday.
Moving off from outside the popular food and entertainment tent Tims On De Highway, the music truck belted out several popular Crop-Over tunes including Majja Shakey’s Rubber Waist, Edwin’s Sugar Cane and Timmy’s Worser Than Dat.

MC KB Kleen helped to add to the excitement charged atmosphere.

The first stop was through Bridgetown where King Site, on top a white Skoda pickup, proudly displayed his winning trophy and waved to the appreciative crowd.

Other stops along the way included Pine, Wildey, Black Rock and Eagle Hall.
