Flower Forest

	With lovely vistas of the east coast along the way, the privately owned and operated,
Flower Forest offers stunning flora in a natural setting.
	Numerous indigenous and imported plants and trees are all labelled with their Latin and English names as well as country of origin.
The forest was created in the 1980's on the site of the old Richmond sugar plantation. A path runs around the borders of the fifty acres of wild land that has been encouraged to develop into a kaleidoscope of colour.
	Visitors are welcome to touch, smell and generally enjoy with all their senses the beauty that surrounds them. Trees like the Barbados cherry, Sandbox and the African baobab can be seen.
There is a fine collection of orchids and heliconias.
