Grenada is enjoying the fruits of its tourism
initiative as visitors and luxury cruise ships arrive in good numbers
and the nutmeg and cocoa industries are well on the road to recovery.
The island’s rain forests, crater lakes,
waterfalls and verdant valleys once again offer endless delight
to the eco-tourist, their glorious rebirth a testament to nature’s
resilience.
Grenada, like many of the Caribbean islands, is now focusing on
Cricket World Cup 2007 and the Super Eight matches to be played
at the magnificent new Queens Park stadium. Grenada will host six
of the Super Eight matches starting April 10th, click here to link
to the CWC calendar.
Grenada is the ideal location for watersports. Grenada
Sailing Week at the end of January starts the annual Caribbean Regatta
Series, and there is excellent diving.

and its tiny twin island of Carriacou
