	Camera, towel, swimwear, comfortable shoes & cash for souvenirs. We drive along the East Coast then head inland to the edge of the rain forest.
Our forestry guide will accompany us on the two and a half-hour walk through the interior of the island, always on the lookout for the rare St. Lucian Parrot.
Exotic flowers and orchids abound... and the green canopies above echo with birdsong and animal calls. On our return refreshing drinks and a buffet lunch will be served. Our next stop takes us to the wonderful land of John the Rastaman's "La Tille Estate". Enjoy this little Garden of Eden complete with beautiful waterfall before heading back to Castries.

Travel by bus from Castries upward to Morne Fortune, made famous by the many French/English conflicts during the 17th and 18th century.

On through the banana plantations to the fishing village of Anse la Raye, then to the recently restored La Sikwi Sugar Mill and Plantation where refreshments & light snacks are served.

The Mill dates back to the 18th century when sugar was manufactured in St. Lucia. The property stands in a lush fruit and flower garden, with majestic mountains forming the backdrop.

Marigot Bay, St Lucia

We then visit beautiful Marigot Bay and St. Mark's, a formidable property dating from the early 19th century, where refreshments are provided.

From this vantage point one can take in a magnificent view of the harbour, the coastline right up to the northern tip of the island and on the horizon, Martinique.

Soufriere We take a one hour cruise along the West Coast to the town of Soufriere passing the quaint villages of Anse la Raye and Canaries.

At Soufriere, we head inland to Morne Coubaril where the traditions of plantation life long ago come alive. Ride in an authentic open-back 'Bedford bus' or on horseback...

to the Sulphur Springs.

You can switch the mode of transport for the return trip and catch a cruiser or catamaran from the jetty at Soufriere.

A delicious local buffet awaits you accompanied by the sweet sounds of a steel band.

From Castries we head to the lush Cul de Sac Valley heavily cultivated with bananas.

Leaving civilization behind our 'jungle journey' to the rainforest begins...

Sample local fare, including refreshing coconut water and other fruit in season, from roadside vendors.

After reaching the summit and enjoying breathtaking views we head down towards a river trail. A short hike along the river bank takes us to a waterfall (sorry, no bathing allowed).

Then it's a short ride to La Sikwi, an eighteenth century restored sugarmill, for a delicious buffet lunch.

Swimming and sun bathing on a secluded beach follows.

Shoppers Paradise
Half day tour (4 hours)
9:00 am - 1:00 p m

A short drive takes us to the excellent Duty Free Shopping Complex at Pointe Seraphine. There is wide selection of jewellery, precious stones, perfumes and designer clothes.

From there, our shopping trip takes a local turn, as we head to the Central Market area, to purchase local souvenirs, spices etc.

An even shorter bus ride takes us to the central part of Castries, where, on the main street, one can find drugstores, shoe stores, and banks as well as other quaint speciality stores.

Travel up Morne Fortune to our next stop, Caribelle Batik, where beautiful batiks are hand made. Then a visit to Eudovic's Art Studio, to view and possibly purchase examples of the island's culture, reflected in the many wooden carvings and other souvenirs.
