A challenging trip that ends in the pleasures of gastronomy, that is what sport fishing in the Caribbean offers. Barracuda, Kingfish, Tuna, Blue Marlin, Billfish, the pleasure of the catch is only equalled by the excellent taste of fish freshly caught in the clear, unpolluted waters of the Caribbean.

Barbados has several charter companies and an official Barbados Game Fishing Association that hosts an international tournament in April.

From Jamaica at the north of the chain down to Trinidad & Tobago in the south, all of the islands have charters available. In Antigua, fishing boats leave from Falmouth Harbour, St Lucia has a Tournament where a 707 lb Blue Marlin was recently caught.

The Caribbean is the ideal destination for a fishing holiday and for those in the party that don't fish, fun is never far away.
