MARK MALONEY set the Bushy Park Circuit in St Philip, Barbados on fire yesterday, blazing around the track to record the fastest time for today's eagerly anticipated Barbados Auto Racing League's Williams Industries Inc. International meet. He qualified for pole position in his Mazda RX and is expected to be one of the top drivers at the event which gets going at 10 a.m. All eyes will also be on Roger Mayers in the WRC Ford Focus and Stuart Maloney in a Mitsubishi Evolution 6 to see if they can lower the track record. Patrons attending today's event can expect better parking facilities and beefed up security as police and island constables will be deployed at strategic points around the circuit. International Race Meeting, being held under the aegis of the Barbados Auto Racing League (BARL). The meet, slated for September 3, is open to members of the Motoring Club Inc. and the Barbados Rally Club.
