Internet radio is growning in popularity as listeners enjoy the freedom
of finding music from around the world.
Caribzones' first associate in cyber radio is kenwebb.com out of
York.
Webb Internet Radio is an internet based radio station operating out of
York.
Business partners DJ Ken 'Spider' Webb, a veteran of Black radio there,
and Barbadian-born marketing director Michael Callender, a business administration
graduate of York's Baruch College, are perfectly positioned to bring
excellent exposure to the Caribbean via the W.I.R. broadcasts.
On the team's annual summer sojourn in Barbados, interviews are taped,
performances attended, and after everything is edited back in the studios
in York, millions will be able to enjoy the spectacle of Barbados'
Crop Over carnival festivities via streaming video.
