Nicholas Brancker is to be congratulated
for presenting a musical treat that mesmerized the appreciative
audience at the Plantation Garden Theatre. Solos by each of the
musicians left no-one in doubt that the Caribbean produces world
class players!
Nicholas proved yet again that the limits of a Bass
are there to be stretched, while Len “Boogsie” Sharpe
exhibited ‘Pan maestro’ status!
On keyboards, Raf Robertson delighted his many fans,
as did his son Miles, who proves conclusively
the Caribbean saying about ‘apples not dropping far from trees’!
On guitar, Ronald “Boo” Hinckson expressed
himself as a master of his instrument
while drummer Desi Jones had us all on the edge
of our seats with an absolutely amazing solo that is still being
talked about!
