Not surprisingly, the West Indies have recalled fast bowler Merv Dillonand reliable batsman Shivnarine Chanderpaulto the squad for the first three matches of theOne-Day International series against England. The two 29-year-olds were yesterday named in the 14-man squad for the first match on Sunday in Guyana and the back-to-back encounters next weekend in Trinidad. The one comer in the team is 20-year-old Dwayne Bravo, the highly-touted Trinidad allrounder, who gets an opportunity after impressing in the Carib Beer Series, while Barbadian allrounder Ian Bradshaw, who went to South Africa but did not play, should make his international debut on Sunday. Fast bowlers Tino Best, Fidel Edwards, and his big brother Pedro Collins have been rested as they prepare for the two Tests against Bangladesh and the summer tour of England. England’s One-Day specialists, with veteran pacer Darren Gough among them who will join the squad, arrived in the region last weekend and have been going through day-long sessions at the St George’s University in Grenada under the guidance of assistant coach Tim Boon.
