Third Stone has opened shows for most of the top
reggae artists that have visited Barbados and now their popularity
is growing on the club scene.Lead singer Gaye ‘Melody Man’
Yearwood is a musical dynamo, radiating energy as body and voice
add power to conscious lyrics. His popularity since winning the
Richard Stoute Teen Talent contest in 1994 has steadily grown and
he has performed in shows featuring Buju Banton and Beres Hammond.

Keyboardist Alex Mathias was part of the ‘Spirit
of Unity’ International Reggae Tour 1999 that featured Third
World and Maxi Priest. His musical credits as performer, songwriter,
producer and arranger read like a who’s who of reggae and
after you have heard his tight, driving rhythms you will understand
why.
