	Cricket holidays are set to rival carnival holidays as Trinidad looks forward to the Cricket World Cup in 2007. On the road to 2007 there are many good matches to be enjoyed in regional cricket, Test Matches and One Day Internationals as well as the popular Carib Beer Series
Cricket holidays spent watching first class cricket are not the only holidays to be enjoyed in Trinidad. Visiting cricket teams are welcome and accommodation and fixtures will be organised on request.

Golf holidays

Trinidad & Tobago is truly a golfer's paradise.

The Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association ( TTGA) boasts a membership of 7 excellent clubs, five in Trinidad and 2 in Tobago, including the magnificent new Plantations Golf and Country Club.

The Golf Course consists of an 18 Hole Plantations Course, PGA designed to Championship standard & a 9 Hole Sugar Mill Course (opening in December, 2003).

Tobago Plantations Golf & Country Club is a certified member of the "Audubon Co-operative Sanctuary System" which is one of the environmental programmes offered by Audubon International, an organisation committed to enhancing the quality of life and the environment through research, conservation assistance and education. The Club has received certification for Environmental Planning for the enhancement and protection of the natural wildlife habitat.

The Golf Academy at Tobago Plantations

Trinidad & Tobago has created The Junior Golf Programme to encourage and train young nationals in the game. Visiting young golfers can be assured of finding plenty of competition, whether in a 'friendly' round or in organised golf tournaments.

PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Florida - Stephen Ames of Trinidad and Tobago recovered from an early double-bogey to edge one shot clear in gusting winds at the Players Championship yesterday.

Ames, who three-putted from 14 feet at the par-four fourth, fired a two-under-par 70 in the third-round at the TPC at Sawgrass to finish at nine-under 207.

That left him a stroke in front of world No. 2 Vijay Singh and sixth-ranked Sergio Garcia, who carded matching 70s playing together in the day's penultimate pairing.

World No.1 Tiger Woods rattled up four birdies and five bogeys to finish at two-under 214.

Horse racing holidays  

Racing enthusiasts know that the most exciting time for a Trinidad horse racing holiday is during September when the Royal Oak Derby is run. Apart from the Derby the Sana Rosa Park has a full racing calendar to delight racing fans.
